Karen MacEachern Veronica ~ You brought sunshine and laughter into the lives of so many. You were such a big part of making our Ford family, a family. Thank you for all your smiles. Thank you for all the joy. Thank you for your example of a giving heart and generous spirit. You have truly touched so many of our lives and I have no words to adequately express the feelings of sadness or the big empty space that is left in your absence. I know you are with us in spirit and that makes me happy. Sending lots of love to you over to the other side. I bet there is a celebration happening somewhere over there, and I am sure you are involved in the planning and all the memories being created. Lots of Love - Karen MacEachern
Karen MacEachern Christie Desnoyer: I’m so glad we have pictures of Veronica in her festive Christmas gear! I remember seeing her have a different Christmas sweater, Santa hat, etc. everyday before Christmas. It made me want to also want to be in the festive spirit.

Jojo Yakobe She was a good hearted person and kind. I will miss raiding her desk when i needed anything.
Veronica was the kindest, most selfless person I have ever met. She was full of life and always went out of her way to make everyone in her life feel important. I am so grateful to have been able to spend the time I did with her, and miss her dearly. We'll miss you, Veronica. Thank you for all that you did, and everything you were to all of us.
Veronica was the kindest soul I ever met. She made me feel SO welcome at Ford when I first joined and I'll never forget that. She always had a smile on her face and made you feel at ease. We will miss her energy and enthusiasm dearly!
Karen Ward As my heart remains broken I will miss Veronica beyond what words can express. We had so many things in common and when I thought I was challenging her crafting skills she was challenging me to grow. Since our birthdays are in the same month she never let me go without cake. She was MY FRIEND outside of work and I will miss everything about her.
Madganna Wilson Veronica submitted this stocking as a stocking contest entry at Christmas time and I fell in love with it!! When the contest was over guess what was sitting on my desk with a note for me to enjoy??? The stocking!!! Just a beautiful person with an amazing heart!
I will always remember your smile and awesome spirit. My heart is heavy but Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal. Run with the Angels my Friend Run with the ANGELS.
Marlene Burdette My heart is bleeding at the loss of Veronica. She was much more than a friend, she was a sister. From the moment we met, over 22 years ago, we formed a strong sisterly bond. Over the years, Veronica, my brother Al and I would travel the world together on the many cruises and other trips we took. She loved planning the cruise activities and events at the Showplace. I will miss her huge smile and funny antics we shared on our road trips. She encouraged me to do my first and only Detroit Free Press 5K marathon. She is the reason I joined her church, New Hope Missionary Baptist church, over 15 years ago. There are so many memories I could share but it would take a book. Just know that you will dearly be missed my sister. R.I.H.
Veronica will truly be missed. The love and kindness❣️that she showed made me feel so good. I remember when she made my father‘s 50th birthday cake 🎂 it looked like it came from a professional bakery Luv Ya 💕Girl
Millennium Software Our team at Millennium will greatly miss Veronica’s smile and wonderful personality! She always looked forward to the company’s annual picnics! The world lost a beautiful soul. She will be missed by many.
Madganna Wilson The TPM building manager, Jennifer, sent this to me. She had to go to the building to manage a few things and stopped by Veronica's desk and locker...and broke down.
Alfred Hall Those of you who saw my Facebook tribute to Veronica, already viewed this photo. I wanted to wait to share my memory, until I could do so without tearing up. This photo was from Veronicas birthday party she celebrated at Club Yesterday’s which is where we had recently met at that time. Her birthday is March 17th...I’d met her at this club maybe a month or so prior to her birthday. Upon meeting we exchanged numbers. At that time I had like four numbers (home, office, cell, and pager), I gave her all of them...she was sooooooo pretty, I wanted to make sure she had all my contacts. Anyway, we eventually talked on phone a few times. She invited me to her party (which is a story by itself...I shared it on my fb page). At this time in Detroit, Ballroom dancing was exploding. Veronica and I talked periodically from March to September...I kept asking to get together and she kept saying....”I don’t know you well enough to go out on a date”, and it’s like going on six months! So, that September, my sister, Marlene and her partner Audrey launched the first Ballroom Hustle Cruise....Veronica was on the boat! Folks, I had planned on having a “wild time” on this cruise!!! We had a welcome party that night, and Veronica attended... we danced, danced, and danced some more....talking all the while. When the party was over Veronica and I walked the boat until like 3am. I convinced her to come to my cabin...after promising like 5 times, I wouldn’t try anything. This was an 8 day and 7 night cruise and Veronica and I spent every night together laying in each other’s arms, fully clothed, talking and laughing ourselves to sleep! She won my heart on that boat! We spent the entire cruise together.....she was a very special “lady”! From that time, we spent almost 23 years together in a relationship that lots of folks could only dream about and or hope for! We had so much in common and shared them all together. Yes, I’m heartbroken that she’s gone, and the way she left, but as I reflect upon our very blessed relationship and read all the beautiful memories and posts shared...I smile, knowing that all the special moments she shared with all of you, and they were special, her and I shared daily for 23 years and I’m so thankful to God for allowing us those years! Love you always Veronica! RIH!
