Join MemoriesSue Doyscher I remember Treva spending hours/days on this jacket. Hand sewed it all. If you could see the back there was a giant beaded peace sign. Alekz got their moms free spirited style. It’s beautiful to see!

I have this memory that has stuck with me of when I ran into you and Jason with tiny baby Wilyem on the sidewalk in downtown Northfield. You were so pleased to introduce me to him and show off your beautiful son. Your eyes beamed with love. I have thought of that moment often. The world is a less worthy place without you in it, Treva. Much less...

I enjoyed being with you and being your friend. I have so many memories of our day to day life together. Mostly what I remember is being at work together, being out in our yards, our many pets, passing each other on campus and cheering our kids on at school events. I was fortunate to have a friend like you. The last time we were together was righ...

I remember Treva being such a sweet and caring soul. I remember taking vocal lessons from her and her being so encouraging and passionate about music. She gave me the confidence I needed to sing. My most recent memory of her was when I called her two months ago when she was in the hospital. She sounded like she was getting better. I am so saddened ...

Sue Doyscher 33 yrs ago, 10 yrs ago & 1yr ago. All feel like yesterday. We laughed so much together. Beautiful inside and out!
David and I did not know Treva well until we had rehearsals for the Carnegie Hall Concert. We learned to love her, to respect her and to listen to her beautiful voice. She is now singing with God's Angels in His Choir!
Dearest Treva, your beauty and grace will be missed. Prayers and much love for the Thoms family.
Treva was so brave and honest about pretty much everything. I will always remember her wanting to take a chance on me and being such a positive support. I will truly miss her and hope she is finally at piece. xo
I met Treva several times during CRunning sessions. At a time, I just got my CR t-shirt which was a bit tight on me, and had asked if I can exchange for a larger size. Without hesitation, Treva was willing to give a shirt off her back to me, a complete stranger. Yes, she was all about giving... We talked about life, family matter, and everything. W...
She had a beautiful soul and caring heart. She was one of those people who could light up a room without needing to say a word. A memory that comes to mind is when I was taking lessons with her. She was never afraid to ask me about my personal obstacles that I have to overcome on a daily basis but treated me like everyone else and looked past it st...

I can remember the first marathon Treva and I ran together - RiverTowns. It was a comedy of a marathon looking back on it. It was stupid hot, down hill on the way out up hill on the way back, we kind of broke in to now ex-husbands car to get supplies and back they ran out of water! That was the start of our marathon adventures together with far to ...
Sue Doyscher I love this picture Jason and Treva.
For the short time I knew Treva I could tell how special she was. I would see her waiting outside of Taylor Hall with Cowbell. We would talk and laugh about how big Cowbell had gotten And about how crazy life is. She was an amazing person to talk to even in the short conversations we had. She added something special in the CCB choir and her voice c...

Treva and I met freshman year at St. Olaf and were roommates until we graduated. I chose St. Olaf because I fell in love with the architecture of the old buildings. I was an English major and one of the classrooms had a beautiful stone fireplace - SOLD! She told me she fell in love the with lovely purple velvet robes that Ole Choir members wore - S...
Monika Soto November 2016, right after the NYC marathon. Treva posted on Facebook that she was running it and that she would love if people came to cheer her on. She gave me a mini cowbell the day before so I could ring it. I still have it today. I told her we had to take a picture to commemorate her finish. I know she was extremely proud of that moment and seeing her smile in this photo will always make me smile, just like it did that day.

A virtue I learned in martial arts today was “to what you have grasped before, you cannot let go” May Ms.Thoms carry her strength with her into the Lord’s kingdom. Recognize her worth and beauty. Love herself. Look over us. Find safety. And forever rest in peace❤️❤️❤️
Though we only knew each other through making music, Treva, I feel so fortunate to have had those opportunities. You’re a person whose inner light shone bright. You—your voice, your kindness, your beauty, your strength—have left an indelible mark on me. Thank you, and rest well. Jason, I can’t imagine the impact of this tremendous loss. May you an...
Treva, I love you and I miss you. You and I had such great times running together, chatting across the hallway in Liberal Studies Hall at Concordia College New York. I miss the chats on our runs, our trips to Broadway shows with the students. We supported each other, pushed one another. You talked about how you adored and supported each of your chi...
