Tyrone Borromeo We miss you, Sonny!
Pauline Kino Our last visit to the Philippines. Sonny really made an impression on Siena.
Regan Ranada This is one of the few last photos of Sonny on my phone - it was one of the few times he came out with me at night to have some drinks (it seemed as though he didn't like doing late nights - and drinking - as much as he did before.) He did however always pester to see me and Jenn during the day, and on some days I was like, 'I have other friends too you know'. I of course now appreciate each and every time we met up - during this trip Jenn and I flew home to attend and emcee a wedding. Sonny always freed up his lunch period for us and this time around we went to the Megamall foodcourt because I had a craving for Tapa King. The three of us ordered from different stalls and sat in the middle of the food court and discussed the material that Jenn and I already came up with. Sonny being the master emcee he was, was deconstructing our material and giving us ways of improving ii - on hindsight it's like when you watch Ricky Gervais deconstructing some of his material - 'that's the joke, innit?' I think we all had fun that lunch, although that trip to the foodcourt gave me and Jenn some horrible bouts with diarrhea. Pretty sure Sonny was sympathetic, but laughed at our plight. Ugh - we had so many lunches, in different restaurants, in different malls, and he was always so loving to Jenn (and by loving I mean he would just straight up rip into her, as everyone knows he does to people he loves), and I wish I had more photos. He was also supposed to emcee our wedding - can you imagine how much fun that would have been? I wonder how many emcee-ing stories of Sonny are out there? Care to share?
