Nikki Proctor-Neethling Wish Clint had never left us here in South Africa, but I treasure every Skype and phone call I have shared with him, especially over the last 4 years. The pictures are from around 1992-1994 with David Neethling
Lorna Sommerville Clint interviewed me in 2002 to join Coca-Cola, I was only 19 at the time, and from the get-go he looked out for me, he was my big brother at work. We ate lunch together. Drank many beers at the Jolly Roger after work. Travelled to weird and wonderful places. While I know he made an enormous amount of jokes on those occasions, I can't remember them. What I remember is how he liked to nerd out discussing history, how incredibly proud he was of Emily and Aidan, how much he loved being their dad, and how he was there for me in an instant if I ever needed help. I feel so grateful that I knew him, he was a giant in every sense. x
I was Clints boss for a fair number of years. He always had the best PDP’s. Coke’s personal development plans. I recall some pearlers. One year he said his language proficiency included Klingon. Another time under long term career goal he wrote - world domination!! I also remember his awesome sense of humour. His iron clad values and his holey gree...
Clint constantly tried to gross me out with the weird food that he claimed was popular in South Africa, like mopane worms. So I never ate anything he cooked if I wasn't sure exactly what it was.
Simone Michaud Cint Rynners potluck Birthday Party, held at Doug Krueger, on Sunday the 27th. Family and friends gathered to celebrate his birthday in his passing. The potluck was held from 5 pm to 8 pm and was a great success!
Whenever I saw Clint on my schedule I would change his appointment to 60 minutes (instead of the allowed 30 minutes) 30 min was NEVER enough time to catch up and chat! I always looked forward to our time together, he always made me laugh and brightened my day. He will be missed...
As family living in Durban whilst the Rynners lived in Jo'burg, we always knew we would be welcomed with open arms, a smile, and a braai (BBQ) ready to go (no mopane worms, Matt!) :) Whether it was Bruce's band on tour, or a group of us in town to watch an international band, or just me on a business trip popping in for a visit, we could always co...
Jeanette Graham We have known Clint for 25 years and will miss him. Clint made a big sacrifice in leaving his family and friends here in South Africa to move to the USA. He did it gladly so that Emily and Aidan could grow up in a safer environment and have many more opportunities in their future. He always spoke so proudly of them and their achievements. I also remember how he always had his nose in a book, and had a huge collection all of which were precious to him, and many boxes of books were shipped to Atlanta. Jeanette and Les Graham
