Kristen Crawford This was one of the last photos taken of Nugget. If you know Nugget, you know that she actually hates having her picture taken and turns away, leaving you with about 100 blurry images. It was only in recent years that we managed to gather quite the collection of photos. We are happy to be able to share a small amount of classic Nuggetisms here with you. One thing we wish everyone could see is that Nugget had a great life even before she moved to BC with Kristen. (Well, once she moved to 564 Lisgar St. that is!) We wish there were photos to share from that time, but Kristen scoured her old phones and wasn't able to find any good ones. But Nugget was loved for and cared for by so many other people than who we were able to capture in this small collection of photos; Jason, the Mom, Liz & Ian, April, Papa Pat, The Wolf Pack, Debbie & Jim, Cathie & Jiff, to name a few. Thank you for everything you did for Nugget and for us over the years. Words cannot possibly express how much we will miss Nugget, and how empty our house feels without her here. But what we can tell you is that we are eternally grateful for the time we had with Nugget, that we loved seeing the joy she created for everyone she met, and we are forever changed by the unconditional love she gave us. Rest in peace Nugget, you will be in our hearts forever. -Kristen & Keith
Jason Lang Here are some Ottawa pics of Nugget
Jason Lang Here are some of the pics I have found of the sweetest, cutest tongue hanging pup! I have a some amazing memories of Nuggz. Great cuddles, road trips, walks, parties. And I will never forget when Nugget and I got mugged by the big bad neighborhood cat. I cried way longer than she did. Love you Nugget xoxo Rest Sweet Girl you were the best
Très Nuggèt Très Nuggèt, you were more than okay, You touched so many people in your own special way From Florida to Ottawa, diapers and all, You made your way into our hearts even though you were so small I remember the time you used my carpet for a poo, But I couldnt get mad, because you looked just like Boo I'm pretty sure I would still be r...
We are both so Happy to have known Nuggèt. There are many beautiful memories but the two that stand out the most are one time when she came for the weekend during Liz’s shower and we took Nuggèt to Bancroft. Our mom said she did not like dogs but when we picked her up she insisted on holding Nuggèt during the whole trip. One summer day Liz brough...
One night, in the not so distant past, Kristen and her green jacket, converse wearing possy decided to check out beer fest. Of course, the rain meant they hid inside a pub and got blitzed prior to braving the elements. By now you may be thinking, how does Nugget fit into this story? Patience. Fast forward several hours (approximately 9pm) and Krist...
April McKenzie I had the pleasure of meeting Nugget many years ago in Ottawa, before she was entrusted to Kristen. She was such a darling and for such a little being she didn’t let anything stop her!!! Eventually I had the privilege of her being one of my roommates before I left Ottawa. I remember being very excited to have her as a roommate as she was a sheer delight. You can imagine how much more excited I got to see her again when she moved out west. It brought me so much joy, I remember coming to the house and she greeted me with her little dance and her cute snorts and smiles. And that smile ! With her tongue poking out of the side of her mouth, how could it not bring a person joy!!! Nugget you were a real little Gem! I am so glad I had you in my life. We love and miss you xoxo April and Kevin
