Memories Team Mum's pasta: INGREDIENTS 3 large eggs, beaten to blend 2 cups all-purpose flour 1 tablespoon olive oil 1 teaspoon kosher salt METHOD Mix eggs, flour, oil, and salt in the bowl of a stand mixer with your hands until a shaggy dough forms. Knead with dough hook until dough is smooth and elastic. Cover with plastic wrap and let rest at least 30 minutes.
Memories Team GRANDPA'S BREAD: INGREDIENTS 1 tablespoon active dry yeast 1 tablespoon sugar 1 tablespoon salt 2 cups warm water not over 110°F 5 1/2 to 6 cups All-Purpose Flour cornmeal or flour for dusting boiling water INSTRUCTIONS In a large bowl mix together the yeast, sugar, salt and water. Gradually add the flour. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface to knead. Let the dough rest while you scrape out and grease the mixing bowl with a few drops of olive oil. Cover with a damp towel and keep warm until the dough doubles in bulk, about 1 to 2 hours. Cook in oven for 45 minutes.
