I am so sorry. Words cannot express my sorrow. I will always remember the Alphas and Angels road trip to Chicago area from ISU. A wonderful time with my Eta Tau family. It is good to have good memories during difficult times. In life many paths cross. I am blessed that Donald crossed mine. LaFrancine McGee Baker

Joycelyn Peetr We love you more than words can express. You will truly be missed.
This was such sad news to hear. He was such a great individual. Don was a co-worker of mine and from day 1 he was such a up beat and helpful person. He will be missed.
My memories of Donald Taylor Mosley include a gentle, loving young boy I saw grow into a stand-up man. I've known Donald for almost 50 years and I always think of you when I hear "I'll Be There" ... look over your shoulder, my friend. God bless and keep your family and may they cherish the memories.

Much love for a man who touched every life that came his way. Love you cousin. May you rest in peace.
It is with great sadness that I have lost my best friend of over 40 years. Donald was a true friend and I am blessed with the gift of friendship that we had together. He was energetic, spontaneous, adventurous and full of life. We all will miss his hearty laugh! May my best friend, best man, fraternity brother and brother in Christ rest in peace! ...

Donald, My heart breaks a little more each time I think about your departure from your physical being. Your smile and laugh were contagious. I smile just thinking about them. I can still hear your voice saying "Hey, Shamiah!" Your spirit was that of an angel. You were such a good man. You were always there for me and cared for me as if I was your...
To Greg and Family: I am so sorry to hear about your brother Donald. Having met him and that we all had something in common i.e., motorcycling makes the circumstances all that more difficult to digest. Ultimately I hope you can find some consolation in that: a person is never really gone as long as there is someone left to remember; and when there...

Donald, I have literally known you all of my life. Our paths crossed as infants; we "shared" parents who loved and raised all of us. My fondest childhood memories are those in which we shared time and space. Life may have taken us sometimes in different directions, but love always abounds! Man, it is hard to think of life without your energy an...
Maurice Blandin Donald will truly be missed! In the short amount of time I've known him, he's had a positive impact on my life and my family; my kids who he would always have an educational question for, and I small monetary reward if they answered correctly, fixing my mother's car, taking my niece back and forth to college the past two years or helping Sabrina and I out during a time of need. Always positive and stirring up a conversation that would get you to think. I remember one time he came over to the house to work on Sabina's car. I looked out the window. I saw his truck so I went outside to greet him, but he was not by his or her car and from a distance I see him coming down the street and picking up trash. lol I shook my head and we greeted as we always did with a hug and a "what's up cuz". That's just one of many memories I have of him. I will miss the conversations, where we shared everything from religion to politics, love and relationship, health and wellness, cars, traveling, and popping popcorn on the stove.

Gaye "Mannett" Foster Donald, My Brother/My Friend, You were like a brother to me. You were family. I could always count on you to make me laugh when I needed a good laugh, ….to talk to when I needed someone to share my good times and not so good…..to be there….you were always there whenever I needed you without judging but willing to do whatever you could do and would help in anyway. The last few years of my life were challenging; didn't tell you because I knew you would be trying to do whatever you could to help make it right. But what you didn't know is that it was God's will for us be separated during those times. I am sure He is telling you all about it now. I will truly miss you. You were one of the best!!! … May your soul rest in heaven with our Heavenly Father. Until we meet again; Much Love, Your Sister/Friend

Val Free A couple of years ago you sent me a letter titled “I Will Always Love You”, where you quoted every word to the song sang by Whitney Huston and written by Dollie Parton. That letter resonates with me now more than ever. In that letter you list some of your fondest memories of us. I responded with mine at the time, but today I would like to say I am taking these memories with me. • I was a teenage mother with I had Chris. We met when he was ten years old. You immediately saw the need for a male figure in his life and stepped in and became a father figure to him. You were there for every graduation in one way or another, always rewarding him for every milestone. You still kept in contact with him. Because your influence he is a 30-year-old, educated black man who enjoys traveling. Keeping our cars cleaned, and running. • The many vacations to different places around the country, camping, motorcycle road trips, hang out at the beach, clubbing, cook-offs, festivals, etc. • Thanksgiving 2008 holiday celeb
Val Free • Thanksgiving 2008 holiday celebration at your cousin Tori's house where quite a few of your family members came. We had a ball. • For the trips to see my family when my funds were tight, and I could not afford to see them very often. • The compliments to boost my self-esteem when life would take the wind out of me. • The times when we would cook together for family and friends. • Installing closet organizers in all my closets. That was a project. You got better by the closet. • The 7 Up cake recipe, as you already know it always received rave reviews. • For the banana pudding challenges between you and me, that I would always win. I mastered that recipe and, because of you, now I going to get a food truck and take it on the road. • Your family recognized my lost and accepted Chris and me as your extended family. As you stated in a voicemail to me last year “There were some very, good positive things occurred when you and I connected together.” I Will Always Love You.
Val Free My dearest Donald, for weeks I just have not been able to express my feelings. Digesting you are not here any longer is one of the hardest things I have ever had to do in my life. We had a bond that would not break. We were homies, lovers, and friends in different stages of our 21-year relationship. One thing for sure we loved and cared for one another during the good, bad, and ugly times of this thing called life. As I sit here in disbelief that I will never physically touch, laugh, received a sentimental letter, email or voicemail, or even have a heartfelt conversation with you again saddens me. Or even give you a crazy nickname that reflects your personality that we laugh and joke about breaks my heart. As I sit, thinking about the years of history we shared and how you are a large part of my life story; I want to thank you for good times, lessons learned, laughs, tears, and love.

As I reflect on the anniversary of losing my best friend, I can't believe it's been 5 years since you were in Atlanta in May 2016 celebrating my birthday and in June 2016 you were gone. Thank you Donald for the many years of friendship, brotherhood and the fellowship of many fond memories. The memory of who you were and all the adventurous things ...
