Jérémie Descelles Cousins are those chilwood playmates who grow up to be forever friends. RIP cousin Bertrand 😥 You who named me Toga.... you’ll be missed.
Arnaud Cherval When we arrived in Melbourne in 2007, Bertrand had generously offered to lodge us in his small 1 bedroom unit in Richmond. He spent 3 weeks sleeping on his couch and didn't complain once. That's always been the kind of person Bertrand was. We had great moments together over the years and we were fortunate to see him go from 24/7 badminton playing bachelor to 24/7 husband and dad (and some badminton too). He had this loud screaming laugh when something was really funny (i wish i had a video to show). When we had met in Mauritius before moving to Australia, Bertrand and us would regularly go out on weekends to the Shotz bar in Flic en Flac. He would regularly remind me of this particular night when I had unfortunately ordered a 'long island ice tea' which was really all alcohol and zero tea. He was driving us home that night and I had to ask him to stop the car mid way to 'depart with' said ice tea. Also asked him to drive as slow as a snail due to the road moving too fast. We have had some great memories of parties, bbqs, outings etc when we had just arrived in Australia, and we met his whole family and friends living here. We will always remember Bertrand as an easy going, reliable friend and we will miss him very much. Arnaud & Clothilde
