Ann will always be one of the most memorable people I've ever known, among other reasons for her generosity, her love of family, her forthrightness, and her appreciation of something well made or done--a painted wall, a political campaign, a water glass, a delicious meal. I will miss her! Pat Kolb

I appreciated Aunt Ann's stories and support, especially after my father's passing. Aunt Ann was a woman of compelling grace and generosity. She was a great conversationalist, with a command of art, history, and politics, her sharp humor and intellect was admirable. She will be greatly missed.

She was forever a pillar of the whole extended family, and always made sure everyone was respected and valued. Her compassion and love could be felt by all members of the family.
