At dads bedside I reminded him of how rich he truely is to have a wonderful loving family and has experienced so many worldly adventures most people could only dream about. Dad was one of the great storytellers and would always talk about our family overseas travels. These memories were one of his many his loves. Thanks for everything dad ?

Deidre Sheeran Dad is pictured here, along with his father, next to the Hansom Cab they donated to the Melbourne Museum many years ago. He took us to the museum to see this cab many times when we were young. He loved traveling, history, visiting historic sites, museums and galleries around the world. My siblings and I were very lucky to have had such wonderful exposure to the world through him. Thank you for all the wonderful times and love you gave us Dad. Thank you for being a good father-in-law and friend to Marcus and a good Pa to Kath, Ellie, Emma, and Paddy. Good bye Dad. I love you. I miss you.
I will always remember him stomping up and down the Kew house in ‘94 trying to manage all you kids (and their friends ?). “Which one are you?” he’d say to me. Lol. He did have a full and great life. ❤️

I’ll always remember our times at the Football particularly the time we were supposed to be at our respective daughters dance evening. We got there late at the time the Parents Dance. Our wives were dancing with other guys and I had to dance with Alfie. I t...

I knew Alf during the early 1990’s. I called on his business Astoria Taxis trying to sell him safes to put in his cabs to keep the drivers safe. We became great friends and I often would drive Alf around in his Ferrari whilst he would sit in the passenger seat drinking a can of beer. He was a lovely guy with a wicked sense of humor and I am sorry t...
