Reza Shafii The 60's in Tehran - Here with his friend Mr. Kerachian.
One night in Teheran, a BOAC 707 was making a scheduled landing on the only runway suitable for Boeing 707s and jets of that type. As the aircraft landed, the nose wheel broke off. The aircraft continued its landing run down the centre of the runway, with the nose oleo making large score mark down the centre line. Amazingly, the cabin crew seemed ...
Nasser Flojeh Many moons ago in Tehran, Ahmad and I carpooled together to and from Iran Air as we lived near one another, and every day on our drive home, he would stop to buy two pieces of chocolate, smile and say “Niloo and Reza are waiting for these!” Years passed, and we found that we once again lived close to one another in Vancouver. Time and distance had separated us, however our friendship instantly picked up where it had left off. We enjoyed each others' company by listening to traditional Iranian music, and reading the words of Hafez, often late into the night until we fell asleep. To Niloo and Reza, you were his world. May you seek comfort in the everlasting memories of your father. To my dearest friend Ahmad, may you rest in peace. You are deeply missed. Forever your friend, Nasser Flojeh

maria totsikas I knew Ahmad as Tom. We worked together for many years at CorporaTel West and later Blue Ocean he was a wonderful person. Its still very hard for me to believe he is no longer here, to share a coffee with or go for dinner, as we often did over the years. We would always go to his favorite neighborhood Earls Restaurant and spend the evening talking. He was filled with so much knowledge and had the absolute best stories to tell of his life and travels. Even though I changed jobs, and we no longer worked together, I always kept in touch with him and regret that we had only chatted by phone and not seen each other in a while before his passing. He was like a teacher of life and how to live it, my hope is to live life as he did. He is missed greatly and I will always hold him in my thoughts and prayers.
