  • Tanya AllisonMy heart goes out to you Gina, Karl, Erik and all the Willison family. Though I only met David a few times. He always came across as a warm, kind soul with a quick sense of humour and a ready smile. Karl and Erik are a true testament to David and possess many of his wonderful qualities. Thinking of you all with much love and support, Tanya and all the Allison family. 24th November, 2022
  • Pia Hofstetter I know today is a very sad day. And so will be the days to come. But your lover and father will always be around, and will be there to guide you through your life adventures. I am so grateful that I was able to meet david, and I was able to collaborate one of his birthdays with cupcakes and cornflakes. It was a very joyous day. Sending you all lots of love. 24th November, 2022
  • Alana AllisonIt was a privilege and joy to know David. I have many fond memories sitting at the dining table and laughing at David’s perfectly timed jokes. The love and admiration that Karl and Erik have for their dad is a true testament to the beautiful person and father David was. I have no doubt that the many wonderful qualities Karl possesses as a partner come from the shining example David set. May his kind hearted nature, humour and wisdom forever live on in spirit. Rest peacefully David. All my love and support, Alana and the entire Allison family x24th November, 2022

  • Selby BradshawI only had the pleasure of meeting David a handful of times, but each time he was so welcoming, funny and kind. My favourite memory of David was coming to his house as he was changing his car horn to be much louder as there were “too many bad drivers on the roads”. Karl is an amazing man and friend and a credit to David and his memory. All the love, strength and support to the Willison family. Love Selby and the Bradshaw family x24th November, 2022

  • Kiara DrinanSo very privileged to have worked with David as my manager at DPI Agriculture. He led from within, mentoring and guiding us, building us up and inspiring us to look at issues differently or more deeply. You knew he was always in your corner, that was never even a question. I will miss his kindness and humour - our little team will not be the same without him. Thinking of his family during this time - so so sorry for the loss of such a wonderful man.24th November, 2022

  • Carrie BengstonDavid was a one-off. He made shoes. He made steel. He made a kiln in the backyard to make the steel in. He could make strange comments in Latin. And of all that he made, best of all, he made a happy family with his love and kindness and care. So pleased to be a friend to this lovely family and this amazing man. Vale David. Rest in peace.
