Shelli Lucus-Kennedy Sandy with my son Ryder at 3-days old. She was my breathing coach, and was every bit a part of my pregnancy. She and Ryder had had a special bond... as did she and I born of our faith and love of the Lord. Sandy brought me to the church-in so many ways she saved life. An amazing selfless loving woman.
Shelli Lucus-Kennedy Sandy with Ryder on his 1st Easter. We didn't have the heart to wake him. He had those plastic eggs solid in his fists though. We got a real kick out of him. Sandy and I hung out for a couple hours in the sun watching all the kids having fun and chatting with our church family.
Shelli Lucus-Kennedy This was the last time that we saw Sandy in person. She & Lennon (her grandson) took Paul, Ryder and I out to dinner at Red Robin. She went out of her way to make time for us when she came up for visits. She was my breathing coach when I had Ryder. Sandy was the most loving woman I've ever known. Ryder and I will treasure our memories of "Grandma Sandy" forever. I'd give about anything to give her one more hug.
